Special Week 5 Woulda Coulda Shoulda

Alright gentleman, we have officially reached the (over) one-third point of the season and thus time to reflect on what has been, what ifs, and reminiscing on the first first third of the season. As the title and my group me announcement suggests, this is a special week.

First let’s Start with the Woulda Coulda Shoulda and (newly named) coach of the week %. I’m sure most people just look for their name in each list to see how they fared and so to make it easier (and because I have a lot of lists and want to take up less space) for this special week I will just put the rankings and point total next to each name. Going with the current rankings, because it’s easiest the format will be as follows:
NAME- Woulda Rank (woulda point total) / Coulda Rank (coulda point total) / Shoulda Rank (shoulda point total) / Coach of the week rank (coach %)

Amunrud- 4 (52.6) / 4 (177.9) / 6 (132.1) / 4 (21.76%)
Jon- 8 (44.2) / 3 (178.1) / 5 (133.5) / 9 (45.13%)
Chasen- 3 (54.6) / 2 (222.5) / 1 (169.8) / 10 (67.45%)
Garrett- 7 (50.8) / 5 (177.7) / 3 (143.8) / 5 (30.65%)
Stock- 2 (79.5) / 6 (161.3) / 4 (139.2) / 6 (36.01%)
Charbonnet- 10 (27.3) / 10 (122.2) / 10 (86) / 1 (2.21%)
Ventura- 9 (32) / 8 (126.9) / 9 (91.8) / 2 (3.18%)
Alex- 1 (83.6) / 1 (230.1) / 2 (164.3) / 8 (44.49%)
Melton- 6 (52.2) / 7 (154.6) / 7 (109.3) / 7 (40.81%)
Paul- 5 (52.4) / 9 (126.7) / 8 (101.9) / 3 (20.00%)

Now that we’re finished with the usual, let’s move onto the special lists!

First up is the rankings if everyone played everyone each week.

  1. Garrett 37-8
  2. Amunrud 33-12
  3. Chasen 31-14
  4. Stock 28-17
  5. Jon 23-22
  6. Alex 22-23
  7. Charbonnet 19-26
  8. Melton 14-31
  9. Paul 10-35
  10. Ventura 8-37

Now the same deal with records of everyone playing everyone, but with the best possible lineups for all.

  1. Chasen 37-8
  2. Amunrud 31-14
  3. Garrett 29-16
  4. Stock 28-17
  5. Jon 23-22
  6. Charbonnet 20-24-1
  7. Alex 19-25-1
  8. Melton 18-27
  9. Ventura 13-32
  10. Paul 6-39

And now for the most interesting list (according to me): The current standings if everyone were perfect in setting up their line-ups each week.

  1. Chasen 5-0 / 741.0 pf
  2. Amunrud 4-1 / 690.0 pf
  3. Stock 3-2 / 644.2 pf
  4. Jon 3-2 / 626.3 pf
  5. Charbonnet 3-2 / 616.4 pf
  6. Alex 3-2 / 586.7 pf
  7. Melton 2-3 / 575.0 pf
  8. Garrett 1-4 / 661.6 pf
  9. Ventura 1-4 / 532.0 pf
  10. Paul 0-5 / 520.0 pf

Thanks for tuning into this special week 5 of woulda coulda shoulda! Hope you enjoyed the lists!

I like this stuff! Definitely not surprised I’m towards the bottom of team management (I really need to change that), and I think Chasen being below me is what secured my win.

Also somewhat comforting to see my overall position is pretty constant between best vs. all, actual vs. all, and best vs. actual.

Also sad that @awmelman is 0-5 but ahead of Ventura on the rankings. He’ll win someday soon!

Just a little bit of help reading the opening list. Using my name for example.

That reads, lowest score if I played the worst lineup first?
Then lowest total score if I played er’body?
Then lowest total if I played my best 10?

Is that how those first numbers work? Rockin’ the 10 all the way through.
and then my #1 number for coaching w/ a percentage is I had the lowest percentage drop from my best-10 to what I actually played?

Correct, Charbonnet.
Woulda is worst possible line-up, coulda is total points (line-up+bench), shoulda is best possible line-up.
